Spectators: 8071 (Terracing: 6055, Seating: 1856, VIP seats: 160) KV Wanzele's Herbert Bernaerts started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind KV Wanzele's goalkeeper Bob Boegaert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 4 minutes into the match, KV Wanzele's goal looked a bit too open when Glenn Clijsters came free, but Bob Boegaert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glenn Clijsters in the 6th minute of play forced KV Wanzele's goalkeeper Bob Boegaert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herbert Bernaerts kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Bart-Jan Theuniers took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gill Roukeloes. Furo AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Glenn Clijsters took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bob Boegaert. Bob Boegaert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 24th match minute, Furo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillaume Van Meerbeeck to maneuver through the defense. Kevin Kestens charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kevin Kestens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kevin Kestens hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 29 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when KV Wanzele's Oswald Van Caels fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. KV Wanzele's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Glenn Clijsters scored to the left of an out of position Bob Boegaert, making the score, 3-0. After 34 played minutes KV Wanzele got a freekick which was hit by Oswald Van Caels. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Glenn Clijsters in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bob Boegaert saved KV Wanzele from getting behind. Bob Boegaert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loui Kints in the 38th minute of play. The supporters of Furo AFC booed when KV Wanzele was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrad Kerckmans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Glenn Clijsters kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 40thth minute. Though ot was a great shot KV Wanzele's keeper Bob Boegaert was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Furo AFC were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after KV Wanzele's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Robbie Loos took the corner. A collision led to Furo AFC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Guillaume Van Meerbeeck hit a great ball. After 44 played minutes, KV Wanzele's Bart-Jan Theuniers shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gill Roukeloes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in KV Wanzele reached it.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Glenn Clijsters to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of KV Wanzele booed when Furo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Hacke didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd match minute, KV Wanzele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrad Kerckmans to maneuver through the defense. Roland Van Langhendoncx took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bob Boegaert. Bob Boegaert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Glenn Clijsters in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bob Boegaert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Roland Van Langhendoncx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the game, Roland Van Langhendoncx cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Bob Boegaert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gill Roukeloes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Bernaerts in the 72nd minute of the match. Furo AFC's Glenn Clijsters got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bob Boegaert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Van Langhendoncx in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Glenn Clijsters left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Furo AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 83rd minute of the match, Oswald Van Caels got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gill Roukeloes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Glenn Clijsters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roland Van Langhendoncx's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bob Boegaert read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Bob Boegaert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roland Van Langhendoncx went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Glenn Clijsters in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bob Boegaert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that Furo AFC were the better team. Furo AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
