A sloppy throw-in by Paul Van Herendael in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Baki Baki's Ritchie Van Herendael. After a rather tough play, Koekelare MFC's Timoteo Tino got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After having played for 14 minutes, Oscar Van Den Bosche managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Baki Baki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Van Den Bosche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 15 minutes, Alain Jannes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Baki Baki and the Koekelare MFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Baki Baki's Alain Jannes got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, Waut Van Elsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laércio Paraíba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Octaaf De Ridder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laércio Paraíba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oscar Van Den Bosche received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dany Loremans came out and tried to block the shot, but Oscar Van Den Bosche slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 33rd minute. Frits Nilis struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Dany Loremans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Baki Baki. When Oscar Van Den Bosche came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the FC Baki Baki fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Van Den Bosche couldn't finish the play. Oscar Van Den Bosche's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dany Loremans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th match minute, Koekelare MFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laércio Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. If Frits Nilis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laércio Paraíba was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Koekelare MFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacq Oosters came free, but Dany Loremans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frits Nilis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dany Loremans having to interfere. Dany Loremans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Van Den Bosche, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Michael Daniels hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Oscar Van Den Bosche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Frits Nilis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Koekelare MFC's Laércio Paraíba got a free kick in the 70th minute. After 70 minutes, Waut Van Elsen mouthed his way into the referee's book. After some careless play in the Koekelare MFC defense, Oscar Van Den Bosche kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dany Loremans. The Koekelare MFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dany Loremans should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Koekelare MFC booed when FC Baki Baki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathis Caspers didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Michael Daniels cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Dany Loremans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Frits Nilis kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. A collision led to Koekelare MFC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Laércio Paraíba hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Laércio Paraíba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Koekelare MFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
