Spectators: 6311 (Terracing: 5310, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Michael Oelaerts took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jerom Smoors showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Oelaerts in the 5th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the game, Steven Puttemans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Christiaan Ivens was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SK Mons's Steven Puttemans got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christiaan Ivens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trevor Eubank, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christiaan Ivens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steven Puttemans in the 17th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Alan Rutgeerts notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SK Mons's Jerom Smoors. Jerom Smoors was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 22 played minutes zvc fizikboys got a freekick which was hit by Romain Van den Berge. Jerom Smoors took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Senne Van Landschoot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christiaan Ivens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trevor Eubank in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Romain Van den Berge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 minutes zvc fizikboys's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kong Sen Chen who took care of the corner kick. Kong Sen Chen made a great header on SK Mons's corner, it was just that zvc fizikboys's Christiaan Ivens managed to reach the ball for a save. Jerom Smoors made an important save on a dangerous shot by Riad Al Abdullah in the 35th minute. After 39 played minutes zvc fizikboys got a freekick which was hit by Senne Van Landschoot. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Steven Puttemans sped through zvc fizikboys's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Christiaan Ivens. Jerom Smoors showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Senne Van Landschoot in the 47th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Steven Puttemans made a kick off. After 51 minutes of play, SK Mons's Steven Puttemans made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christiaan Ivens was left in no man's land by his defense there! The SK Mons fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when SK Mons's Trevor Eubank looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 58th minute Alan Rutgeerts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerom Smoors saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steven Puttemans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SK Mons's Tony Degraef was substituted for Kong Sen Chen. Jerom Smoors showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Rutgeerts in the 62nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the zvc fizikboys defense, Bogumil Czapski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christiaan Ivens. The zvc fizikboys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christiaan Ivens should have stopped the shot. zvc fizikboys's Christiaan Ivens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save zvc fizikboys from getting a goal against them. SK Mons were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after zvc fizikboys's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Christoph Van den Berch took the corner. Jerom Smoors showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Riad Al Abdullah, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. With 81 minutes on the clock, Cesar Vrijdags commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 83rd minute there was a penalty for zvc fizikboys. Timmy De Boel stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jerom Smoors. 2-5. After 88 minutes of play, zvc fizikboys's Marcelo-Luis Rodriguez made it 3-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jerom Smoors was left in no man's land by his defense there! zvc fizikboys's Christiaan Ivens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trevor Eubank in the 91st minute of play. SK Mons were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over zvc fizikboys's much stronger midfield.
