Lou Cromefeldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Weverton van Beek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lou Cromefeldt in the 6th minute of play. Matias Colebrants took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louis Snyers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Fc Rossem's Stein Van Eyke slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Weverton van Beek. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. 20 minutes into the match, Stein Van Eyke had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Weverton van Beek. Liernu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stein Van Eyke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Lou Cromefeldt put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Weverton van Beek. After having played for 27 minutes, Louis Snyers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liernu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Louis Snyers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the game, Stein Van Eyke cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Weverton van Beek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Matias Colebrants took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louis Snyers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 minutes Fc Rossem's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yanniek Matthijs who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Liernu's corner Yanniek Matthijs fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Matias Colebrants quite easily take care of the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Louis Snyers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Matias Colebrants was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 41st minute, Stein Van Eyke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Weverton van Beek was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Stein Van Eyke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Weverton van Beek made a huge save. Stein Van Eyke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Weverton van Beek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

When Lou Cromefeldt came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Fc Rossem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lou Cromefeldt couldn't finish the play. 52 minutes into the match, Stein Van Eyke had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Weverton van Beek. Liernu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stein Van Eyke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. In the 58th minute of the match Liernu got a corner. Fc Rossem's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yanniek Matthijs ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 62nd match minute, Fc Rossem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tibo Cromefeldt to maneuver through the defense. When Jesse Van De Wyngaert fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc Rossem's protests and gave Jesse Van De Wyngaert a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Fc Rossem getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Jesse Van De Wyngaert hit a great ball. Lorenzo Bermudez kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Stein Van Eyke had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Weverton van Beek. Liernu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stein Van Eyke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. Stein Van Eyke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Weverton van Beek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Weverton van Beek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lou Cromefeldt in the 78th minute of the match. Louis Snyers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Liernu getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Günther Bardy hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Fc Rossem's Crispijn Deprez broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of Liernu booed when Fc Rossem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesse Van De Wyngaert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yanniek Matthijs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96thth minute of the game Stein Van Eyke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liernu's Weverton van Beek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Fc Rossem were victorious despite being under pressure from Liernu for much of the match.
