The audience thought a goal was coming when Stefan Jungblut got free with Hans-Georg Max in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Willi Ballik to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Potschach FC got a corner. NO NAME's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andreas Zingler ran over to the corner to take the kick. Stefan Jungblut might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hans-Georg Max. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stefan Jungblut ran back to his position shaking his head. NO NAME's Hans-Georg Max played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willi Ballik in the 95th minute of play. Stefan Jungblut struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Hans-Georg Max didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Potschach FC. Potschach FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
