Federico Alessandrini showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Ruben Dahmen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the match, Patrik Gerolstein notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of GFB Austria's Filipe Viegas. Filipe Viegas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Filipe Viegas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Reiners in the 12th minute of play. Filipe Viegas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Gerolstein in the 18th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Federico Alessandrini took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Gerhard Handke to make any attempt to save it. GFB Austria's Filipe Viegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Gerolstein in the 24th minute of play. FC Feuerzwerge's Jan Zahl got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. GFB Austria's Filipe Viegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Gerolstein in the 32nd minute of play. Konrad Henneke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filipe Viegas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Gerolstein in the 36th minute of the match. Patrik Gerolstein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Viegas having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Zahl in the 45th minute of play forced GFB Austria's goalkeeper Filipe Viegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filipe Viegas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Zahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 61 played minutes GFB Austria got a freekick which was hit by Björn Schelm. Jan Zahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, GFB Austria's goal looked a bit too open when Reinhold Haug came free, but Filipe Viegas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Feuerzwerge booed when GFB Austria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Hauke Naumann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filipe Viegas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patrik Gerolstein in the 71st minute. Björn Schelm charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Björn Schelm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd match minute, GFB Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Björn Schelm to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute Felix Aumann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Viegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Gerolstein in the 83rd minute of play forced GFB Austria's goalkeeper Filipe Viegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruben Dahmen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute Patrik Gerolstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Viegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The GFB Austria fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Feuerzwerge were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
