With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thom Nelson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Hauke Almer in the 31st minute of play forced FC Hurricane's goalkeeper Thom Nelson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thom Nelson came out of the goal and Jan-Hauke Almer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan-Hauke Almer in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thom Nelson saved FC Hurricane from getting behind. 43 minutes into the match, Langfeld's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Oliver Rudersdorfer came free, but Pascal Tannhof reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC Hurricane's zone, Gerrit Huber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thom Nelson came out of the goal and Gerrit Huber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 48thth minute of the game Jan-Hauke Almer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Hurricane's Thom Nelson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jan-Oliver Rudersdorfer was the one to do the kick off. In the last second Thom Nelson throw himself and got hold of the ball when Jan-Hauke Almer in the 53rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 54th play minute Jan-Hauke Almer came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Thom Nelson. 1-2. Jan-Hauke Almer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thom Nelson having to make a save. After having played for 66 minutes, Gerrit Huber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Langfeld's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerrit Huber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Hurricane's Tim Theinert got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Theinert in the 70th minute of play forced Langfeld's goalkeeper Pascal Tannhof to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thom Nelson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Hauke Almer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan-Hauke Almers short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Thom Nelson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jan-Hauke Almer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Thom Nelson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, FC Hurricane's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Hauke Almer came free, but Thom Nelson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Hauke Almer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Thom Nelson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 89th minute, Niko Zillen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan-Hauke Almer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Thom Nelson made a huge save. When Jan-Hauke Almer, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 95 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Thom Nelson was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Langfeld's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
