Rui Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Maurito in the 6th minute of play. Fábio Samakuva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emílio Nascimento was a little too slow when Paulo Teive got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. Rui Guedes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmundo Maurito went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Felíx Preto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fábio Samakuva during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Stoke Poges booed when Barritos Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fábio Samakuva didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute Edmundo Maurito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Varanda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Emílio Nascimento made a huge save. The supporters of Barritos Fc booed when Stoke Poges was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Fontão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Varanda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rui Guedes came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Stoke Poges's Teodoro Jaka Jamba. But to his dismay, Teodoro Jaka Jamba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Paulo Varanda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Nascimento having to interfere. Edmundo Maurito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Rui Guedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

After a defensive mix-up in Stoke Poges's zone, Paulo Varanda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emílio Nascimento came out of the goal and Paulo Varanda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 53 minutes into the game, Tadeu Lentilha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stoke Poges's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barritos Fc the free kick. In the 53rd match minute, Stoke Poges was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeu Lentilha to maneuver through the defense. If Paulo Teive had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Fábio Samakuva notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Stoke Poges's Emílio Nascimento. Emílio Nascimento was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paulo Teive fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Nascimento having to interfere. Stoke Poges's Emílio Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Varanda in the 70th minute of play. Emílio Nascimento stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Teive's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. After 72 played minutes Stoke Poges got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Fontão. After having played for 73 minutes, Paulo Varanda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barritos Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Varanda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Paulo Teive had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgar Fontão kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After 77 played minutes, Barritos Fc's Albertino Gonçalves shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emílio Nascimento came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barritos Fc reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Teive in the 82nd minute of play forced Stoke Poges's goalkeeper Emílio Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 minutes of play, Barritos Fc's Paulo Teive made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emílio Nascimento was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Varanda in the 91st minute of play forced Stoke Poges's goalkeeper Emílio Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodoro Jaka Jamba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Rui Guedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
