In the 13th minute Ailton Tremura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmundo Areosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gregório Maurito took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alão Felício. Alão Felício dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 23rd minute Ailton Tremura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmundo Areosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Ganete in the 28th minute of play forced Real Madrid's goalkeeper Alão Felício to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ailton Tremura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmundo Areosa having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Ailton Tremura recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edmundo Areosa. Ailton Tremura showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Emílio Zamora could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Edmundo Areosa made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Emílio Zamora could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Edmundo Areosa however easily saved by the left post. Gregório Maurito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Real Madrid's Alão Felício played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregório Maurito in the 45th minute of play. Real Madrid's Ailton Tremura got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

If Fábio Ganete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio Zamora in the 67th minute of play forced Os Intocaveis's goalkeeper Edmundo Areosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 minutes, Camilo Tenória mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Os Intocaveis and the Real Madrid players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th match minute, Os Intocaveis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Tenória to maneuver through the defense. Alão Felício was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Fábio Ganete. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Gregório Maurito got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Os Intocaveis players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Real Madrid.
