Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marcelo Barreiros took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 8 minutes, Afonso Amado made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Fakenham's Rolando Lima Clemente tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rolando Lima Clemente stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Afonso Amado's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonso Amado in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Lima Clemente saved Fakenham from getting behind. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Afonso Amado sped through Fakenham's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rolando Lima Clemente. Rolando Lima Clemente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Ramos in the 19th minute of play. Nuno Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Lima Clemente having to interfere. Toni Areosa hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Afonso Amado put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Rolando Lima Clemente. Rolando Lima Clemente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Amado in the 29th minute of play. In the 30thth minute of the game Afonso Amado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fakenham's Rolando Lima Clemente was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nuno Dikaté made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Teodoro Preto sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonso Amado in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Lima Clemente saved Fakenham from getting behind. When Nuno Bastos fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fakenham's protests and gave Nuno Bastos a yellow card for diving instead. If Tadeu Flores had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fakenham's Rolando Lima Clemente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Amado in the 46th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Afonso Amado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Lima Clemente. Fakenham's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Afonso Amado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Rolando Lima Clemente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeu Flores, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afonso Amado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Fakenham's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Amado came free, but Rolando Lima Clemente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Afonso Amado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Desert Fury booed when Fakenham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Jacinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonso Amado in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Lima Clemente saved Fakenham from getting behind. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fakenham's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nuno Ramos was slow to take the kick. During this time Desert Fury's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Desert Fury's Nuno Ramos to fire away a dangerous shot which Rolando Lima Clemente despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Desert Fury's Afonso Amado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Lima Clemente made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Nuno Ramos scored 0-8 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Lima Clemente, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Desert Fury fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Desert Fury's Afonso Amado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 94 played minutes Desert Fury got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Apalanga. During the 97th minute of the match Nuno Bastos completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Nuno Bastos a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Desert Fury booed when Fakenham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Bastos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Desert Fury's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
