Marcelo Barreiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teta Amado having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in BASE ANGOLANA's zone, Marcelo Barreiros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teta Amado came out of the goal and Marcelo Barreiros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Alda Manarte fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BASE ANGOLANA's protests and gave Alda Manarte a yellow card for diving instead. 32 minutes into the match, BASE ANGOLANA's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Barreiros came free, but Teta Amado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodoro Preto might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teta Amado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teodoro Preto ran back to his position shaking his head. Teta Amado was a little too slow when Teodoro Preto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 1-0. Teta Amado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Barreiros in the 41st minute of play. Marcelo Barreiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teta Amado having to interfere. Rolando Lima Clemente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Bouça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Fakenham's Teodoro Preto got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute Marcelo Barreiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teta Amado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiago Bouça in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Lima Clemente prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 89 minutes into the match, BASE ANGOLANA's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Barreiros came free, but Teta Amado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, BASE ANGOLANA's Rolando Lima Clemente threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tiago Bouça, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
