Kavaja FK's Fadil Aga got his second yellow card of the match in the 27th minute. The referee ordered Fadil Aga off the ground. After 28 played minutes Kavaja FK got a freekick which was hit by Fadil Aga. In the 30th match minute, tirona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdullah Shiku to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 74 minutes, Bulent Tola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kavaja FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bulent Tola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, tirona's goal looked a bit too open when Niki Vreto came free, but Vasfi Krasi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niki Vreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vasfi Krasi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Niki Vreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasfi Krasi having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in tirona's zone, Enjel Fagu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vasfi Krasi came out of the goal and Enjel Fagu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thoma Pjetri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vasfi Krasi having to make a save. Vasfi Krasi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niki Vreto in the 90th minute of play. Mariglen Kllogjëri didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 92nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Chants of tirona echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Kavaja FK had held the ball for most of the match.
