The audience was convinced that Tani Pilinxhi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Besim Korabi was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. The supporters of Desi FC booed when Saranda FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kol Salihi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Saranda FK's Kol Salihi got a free kick in the 39th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Saranda FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Desi FC:s goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bektash Plaku was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saranda FK's goalkeeper Besim Korabi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jorxhi Bato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Pogradecari having to interfere. Mehmet Pogradecari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bektash Plaku in the 63rd minute of the match. Halid Luarasi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Besim Korabi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Halid Luarasi in the 88th minute. Halid Luarasi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Besim Korabi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tani Pilinxhi in the 98th minute of the match. When the match was over Desi FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Saranda FK throughout the match.
