Caleb Beadle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guy Key's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. John Thompson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 24 played minutes, FC Lauredià's Gordon Bramhall shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jacob Bond came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Lauredià reached it. Trey Goodwick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Jacob Bond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacob Bond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trey Goodwick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Guy Key fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Caleb Beadle, passed just outside the right post. John Thompson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 33rd playminute. John Thompson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caleb Beadle having to interfere. Guy Key's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Caleb Beadle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. John Thompson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrew Whitehead made a kick off. Caleb Beadle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guy Key in the 53rd minute of the match. Guy Key recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 58 minutes of play, FC Onion's John Thompson made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Caleb Beadle was left in no man's land by his defense there! 63 minutes into the match, Keanu Staple notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of FC Onion's Jacob Bond. Jacob Bond was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Guy Key fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caleb Beadle having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfred Couzens during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrew Whitehead in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caleb Beadle saved FC Lauredià from getting behind. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Lauredià's goalkeeper Caleb Beadle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers John Thompson in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caleb Beadle saved FC Lauredià from getting behind. Caleb Beadle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrew Whitehead's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. John Thompson might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Caleb Beadle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. John Thompson ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Guy Key managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Onion's supporters rose to their feet, but Guy Key was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caleb Beadle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Andrew Whitehead sped through FC Lauredià's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Caleb Beadle. Jermaine Ackroyd was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 94 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of FC Onion:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Lauredià:s goal.
