Spectators: 8563 (Terracing: 6423, Seating: 1969, VIP seats: 171) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ralph Nicholson made the kick off which started today's match. When Kristopher Bridge fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dynamo 93's protests and gave Kristopher Bridge a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Dynamo 93 getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Kristopher Bridge hit a great ball. When Aaron Philpott came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Budleigh Salterton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aaron Philpott couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the match, Ralph Nicholson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alan Simms, 1-0. 36 minutes into the match, Dynamo 93's goal looked a bit too open when Jools Beard came free, but Barrie Perkins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ethan Auckland took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alan Simms. Budleigh Salterton's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jools Beard to make the kick off. A collision led to Budleigh Salterton getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Darryl Titmus hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the match, Budleigh Salterton's goal looked a bit too open when Ralph Nicholson came free, but Alan Simms reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ralph Nicholson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Alan Simms tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute Jools Beard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barrie Perkins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Ralph Nicholson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stephen Moyse hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After having played for 68 minutes, Aaron Philpott managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Budleigh Salterton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aaron Philpott was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Dynamo 93's zone, Jools Beard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barrie Perkins came out of the goal and Jools Beard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Doug Whitford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Alan Simms tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ralph Nicholson in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alan Simms saved Budleigh Salterton from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Budleigh Salterton's zone, Phil Tindale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alan Simms came out of the goal and Phil Tindale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alan Simms made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doug Whitford in the 84th minute of play.
