After a defensive mix-up in Dynamo 93's zone, Mike Lineker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barrie Perkins came out of the goal and Mike Lineker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barrie Perkins made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jim Blueman in the 20th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Sporting Llorts's goal looked a bit too open when Doug Whitford came free, but Kieran Newman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26thth minute of the game Ralph Nicholson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Llorts's Kieran Newman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 26th match minute, Sporting Llorts was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antony Dryden to maneuver through the defense. Sporting Llorts's Kieran Newman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doug Whitford in the 29th minute of play. Doug Whitford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kieran Newman having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ralph Nicholson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sporting Llorts's Kieran Newman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doug Whitford in the 51st minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Kristopher Bridge was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dynamo 93's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Llorts the free kick. A collision led to Dynamo 93 getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Kristopher Bridge hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mike Lineker in the 59th minute of play forced Dynamo 93's goalkeeper Barrie Perkins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kieran Newman didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 67th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. The audience was convinced that Jim Blueman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Barrie Perkins was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. After 93 played minutes Dynamo 93 got a freekick which was hit by Kristopher Bridge. The supporters of Sporting Llorts booed when Dynamo 93 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kris Styles didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Dynamo 93 players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Sporting Llorts from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
