Spectators: 8117 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1948, VIP seats: 169) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Titan's Clive Spink played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sid Howarth in the 4th minute of play. Clive Spink showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Den Waller, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Will Le Tissier in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Loyd Locke saved FC encamp from getting behind. Luke Glanvill took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Loyd Locke. Loyd Locke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Loyd Locke came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Titan's Will Le Tissier. But to his dismay, Will Le Tissier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 21st minute, Den Waller left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC encamp fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. FC encamp's Loyd Locke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save FC encamp from getting a goal against them. Will Le Tissier had several of the FC encamp's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 34 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-3 score and a disappointed Loyd Locke as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Den Waller in the 39th minute of play forced Titan's goalkeeper Clive Spink to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Den Waller took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clive Spink. Clive Spink dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 3-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Den Waller to make the kick off. Clive Spink took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenny Tucker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd minute, Will Le Tissier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Loyd Locke was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-4. Clive Spink made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenny Tucker in the 57th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as FC encamp's Den Waller slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Clive Spink. That made the score 4-5 after 59 minutes of play. With a little luck, Titan's Clive Spink got control of the ball when Kenny Tucker tried to sneak it across the goal line. Clive Spink made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-6. Clive Spink made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Garth Coombe sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th minute, Kenny Tucker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clive Spink was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-7. 94 minutes into the game, Titan's Don Styles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Loyd Locke made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-7. When the final whistle sounded FC encamp left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Titan.
