An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Vanker in the 29th minute of play forced FC Sabierivier's goalkeeper Nelson Vanker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vlakfontein's Silas Madima got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute Johannes Ngake shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gordon Mabele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Vanker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Nelson Vanker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Johannes Ngake had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 minutes of play, Vlakfontein's Silas Madima made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nelson Vanker was left in no man's land by his defense there! 96 minutes into the game, Johannes Ngake cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Gordon Mabele was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
