Tomas Tembe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Komani in the 4th minute of the match. Maluleke Shongwe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maluleke Shongwe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Alpheus Takane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alpheus Takane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maluleke Shongwe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Johann Nkadimeng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alpheus Takane having to interfere. After 15 played minutes Kift boys f.c got a freekick which was hit by Bomikaze Sephiri. Johann Nkadimeng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alpheus Takane didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maluleke Shongwe went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Buffelshoek getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Yacoob Takane hit a great ball. Elias Komani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Tembe having to interfere. Tomas Tembe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Komani in the 42nd minute of play. Johann Nkadimeng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joseph Mangope fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Tembe having to interfere. After the first half Buffelshoek were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Johann Nkadimeng to make the kick off. Maluleke Shongwe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Alpheus Takane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Kift boys f.c's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Johann Nkadimeng fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 60th minute, Joseph Mangope got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Buffelshoek's goalkeeper Tomas Tembe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Johann Nkadimeng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Alpheus Takane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Buffelshoek's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Komani came free, but Tomas Tembe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Joseph Mangope came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Kift boys f.c fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joseph Mangope couldn't finish the play. 85 minutes into the game, Delron Patel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kift boys f.c's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buffelshoek the free kick. Delron Patel hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Alpheus Takane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johann Nkadimeng, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johann Nkadimeng in the 88th minute of play forced Kift boys f.c's goalkeeper Alpheus Takane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Maluleke Shongwe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Buffelshoek's zone, Elias Komani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Tembe came out of the goal and Elias Komani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Buffelshoek had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
