Spectators: 8243 (Terracing: 6308, Seating: 1934, VIP seats: 1) Walker Knights's Darren Bartlett started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jomo Mathibe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johann Thompson in the 6th minute of the match. When Steve Melele came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the DISTRICT 9 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steve Melele couldn't finish the play. 9 minutes into the match, Steve Melele notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Walker Knights's Jomo Mathibe. Jomo Mathibe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 11th match minute, DISTRICT 9 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrice Maduna to maneuver through the defense. Nicolas Koens short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Albert Mufadi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jomo Mathibe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steve Melele in the 16th minute of the match. Darren Bartlett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the game, Nicolas Koen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Albert Mufadi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 27 minutes, Darren Bartlett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Walker Knights's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darren Bartlett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicolas Koen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albert Mufadi made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Nicolas Koen sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th minute, Johann Thompson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DISTRICT 9 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 41 minutes into the match, Walker Knights's goal looked a bit too open when Johann Thompson came free, but Jomo Mathibe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Steve Melele made a kick off. Jomo Mathibe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johann Thompson in the 60th minute. Nicolas Koen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Mufadi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Melele in the 73rd minute of play forced Walker Knights's goalkeeper Jomo Mathibe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jomo Mathibe made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Johann Thompson sent off a good shot on target. 82 minutes into the match, Darren Bartlett had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albert Mufadi. DISTRICT 9's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Darren Bartlett was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Darren Bartlett in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albert Mufadi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 94th minute, Darren Bartlett ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albert Mufadi was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2.
