In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Iwano-Frankivsk Kolos's goalkeeper Olexiy Onufryk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39th minute Matviy Semyryak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olexiy Onufryk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matviy Semyryak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olexiy Onufryk having to interfere. Olexiy Onufryk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matviy Semyryak in the 46th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matviy Semyryak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iwano-Frankivsk Kolos's Olexiy Onufryk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stepan Leschuk in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Iwano-Frankivsk Kolos's Zakhar Chayka got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Mefodiy Olexandriv was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 63rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Olexiy Onufryk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matviy Semyryak, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Matviy Semyryak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olexiy Onufryk. The referee ignored Kherson's protests and gave Mykola Turchyn a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th match minute, Kherson was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mykola Turchyn to maneuver through the defense. Stepan Leschuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olexiy Onufryk having to interfere. Olexiy Onufryk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matviy Semyryak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
