Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hirla's Florin Pintilescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, Viorel Hâncu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vidacutu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hirla the free kick. Viorel Hâncu hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Vidacutu's Gelu Unciuleanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelian Rotariu in the 6th minute of play. Gelu Unciuleanu came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Hirla's Aurelian Rotariu. But to his dismay, Aurelian Rotariu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Hirla's goal looked a bit too open when Teodor Ticulescu came free, but Eugen Giubelean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Nistor Ţăranu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vidacutu's supporters rose to their feet, but Nistor Ţăranu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugen Giubelean breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nistor Ţăranu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Eugen Giubelean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Teodor Ticulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vidacutu's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodor Ticulescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugen Giubelean breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teodor Ticulescu in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugen Giubelean prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 23 minutes into the match, Viorel Hâncu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eugen Giubelean. Hirla's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Viorel Hâncu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Eugen Giubelean was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Teodor Ticulescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Teodor Ticulescu really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Eugen Giubelean was a little too slow when Teodor Ticulescu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 3-1. In the 33rdth minute of the game Teodor Ticulescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hirla's Eugen Giubelean was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nistor Ţăranu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Eugen Giubelean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodor Ticulescu in the 39th minute of play forced Hirla's goalkeeper Eugen Giubelean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nistor Ţăranu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Eugen Giubelean when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 48th minute, Teodor Ticulescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vidacutu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodor Ticulescu to make the kick off. Eugen Giubelean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nistor Ţăranu, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Florin Pintilescu hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the match, Vidacutu's Constantin Domuță broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 63 minutes into the match, Hirla's goal looked a bit too open when Teodor Ticulescu came free, but Eugen Giubelean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodor Ticulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugen Giubelean having to interfere. Eugen Giubelean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodor Ticulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugen Giubelean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viorel Hâncu in the 68th minute of the match. Teodor Ticulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Eugen Giubelean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Hirla's Martin Iureș got a free kick in the 75th minute. Teodor Ticulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugen Giubelean having to interfere. Nistor Ţăranu scored 5-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eugen Giubelean, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Viorel Hâncu got his second yellow card in the match during the 85th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 86th match minute, Vidacutu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viorel Hâncu to maneuver through the defense. Vidacutu's Nistor Ţăranu got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eugen Giubelean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nistor Ţăranu, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
