Spectators: 6710 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1710, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Petrică Gârniceanu started the match with the kick off. 10 minutes into the match, Muscelusa CSM's goal looked a bit too open when Petrică Gârniceanu came free, but Dinu Borcea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Flavius Apăvăloaie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petrică Gârniceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Moise Vasiloiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Dinu Borcea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Petrică Gârniceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nicolinti UFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Petrică Gârniceanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dinu Borcea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 24 played minutes Nicolinti UFC got a freekick which was hit by Ernest Nițulescu. Iulian Muraru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iulian Muraru might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Octav Isvoreanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iulian Muraru ran back to his position shaking his head. If Iulian Muraru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernest Nițulescu hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. A hard shot 34 in the game by Flavius Apăvăloaie from a close distance when the talented Octav Isvoreanu managed to make a qualified save. Nicolinti UFC's players were relieved. Iulian Muraru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iulian Muraru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Octav Isvoreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iulian Muraru, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Filip Plop's late challenge caught a Nicolinti UFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filip Plop helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Muscelusa CSM's Filip Plop got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Nicolinti UFC's Octav Isvoreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iulian Muraru in the 55th minute of play. Flavius Apăvăloaie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octav Isvoreanu having to interfere. Octav Isvoreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavius Apăvăloaie in the 59th minute of play. After 65 played minutes Muscelusa CSM got a freekick which was hit by Narcis Aldea. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iulian Muraru in the 68th minute of play forced Nicolinti UFC's goalkeeper Octav Isvoreanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petrică Gârniceanu in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dinu Borcea saved Muscelusa CSM from getting behind. In the 75th minute of the match Costică Cârjă sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Octav Isvoreanu skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Nicolinti UFC's Ernest Nițulescu got a free kick in the 76th minute. Flavius Apăvăloaie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iulian Muraru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octav Isvoreanu having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Felix Cămărășescu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Nicolinti UFC's Octav Isvoreanu didn't even have to move. If Moise Vasiloiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Moise Vasiloiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dinu Borcea was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
