But to his dismay, Flavius Apăvăloaie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The audience was convinced that Mădălin Bădiță's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dinu Borcea was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. When Costică Cârjă fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Muscelusa CSM's protests and gave Costică Cârjă a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Azochim Savinesti booed when Muscelusa CSM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costică Cârjă didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 played minutes, Muscelusa CSM's Vlad Aldescu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alex Fecioru came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Muscelusa CSM reached it. Azochim Savinesti's Alex Fecioru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavius Apăvăloaie in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Muscelusa CSM were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iulian Muraru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Muscelusa CSM's Felix Cămărășescu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute. The supporters of Muscelusa CSM booed when Azochim Savinesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Ioneasa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dinu Borcea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Muscelusa CSM's Dinu Borcea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Jianu in the 80th minute of play. Dinu Borcea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Jianu, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Muscelusa CSM's Dinu Borcea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Jianu in the 91st minute of play. Leonard Jianu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iulian Muraru hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. When the final whistle went the supporters of Muscelusa CSM were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Azochim Savinesti side.
