In the 18th minute, Hilario Serapio fired a really elegant long shot, but Alin Gavra threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Hilario Serapio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alin Gavra. Ilanlac AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Gigel Burileanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicolaas Mestdagh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vali Ipate in the 26th minute of the match. Pavel Blăniță hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iulian Şoimu in the 29th minute of play forced Ilanlac AFC's goalkeeper Alin Gavra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alin Gavra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristinel Bungeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Ilanlac AFC's zone, Cristinel Bungeanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alin Gavra came out of the goal and Cristinel Bungeanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alin Gavra came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Lisburn Distillery FC's Iulian Şoimu. But to his dismay, Iulian Şoimu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 42 minutes into the match, Ilanlac AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristinel Bungeanu came free, but Alin Gavra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oskar Myhr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Alin Gavra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alin Gavra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iulian Şoimu's shot from short distance in the 49th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vali Ipate was the one to do the kick off. Nicolaas Mestdagh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iordache Bădulescu in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute Cristinel Bungeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alin Gavra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gigel Burileanu hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, Ilanlac AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Oskar Myhr came free, but Alin Gavra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alin Gavra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iulian Şoimu in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute Lisburn Distillery FC were awarded a corner. Oskar Myhr went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Lisburn Distillery FC's corner Oskar Myhr fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alin Gavra quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Ilanlac AFC booed when Lisburn Distillery FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Coroian didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 73 played minutes Lisburn Distillery FC got a freekick which was hit by Alin Huștea. After a rather tough play, Ilanlac AFC's Martin Băsescu got a free kick in the 74th minute. The audience was convinced that Iulian Şoimu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alin Gavra was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Alin Gavra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iulian Şoimu's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Gigel Burileanu hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The Lisburn Distillery FC fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Lisburn Distillery FC's Iulian Şoimu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Aurelian Urduban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Alin Gavra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alin Gavra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iulian Şoimu, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lisburn Distillery FC fully deserved thier win.
