Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Remus Grigoriu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 4th playminute. Remus Grigoriu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Iulian Popescu made a huge save. If Ivan Iliescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivan Iliescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iulian Popescu having to interfere. After 15 played minutes Tacaliile got a freekick which was hit by Moise Hăvârneanu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Iliescu in the 24th minute of play forced Tacaliile's goalkeeper Iulian Popescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tacaliile's zone, Remus Grigoriu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iulian Popescu came out of the goal and Remus Grigoriu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gigel Ciolac recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iulian Popescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Iliescu in the 37th minute of play. Iulian Popescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Remus Grigoriu in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Iliescu in the 42nd minute of play forced Tacaliile's goalkeeper Iulian Popescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Ionel Măcrineanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tacaliile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Petru Negrescu made a kick off. Iulian Popescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Iliescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Tacaliile's goal looked a bit too open when Remus Grigoriu came free, but Iulian Popescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 played minutes Tacaliile got a freekick which was hit by Gică Nebunu. After a defensive mix-up in Tacaliile's zone, Remus Grigoriu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iulian Popescu came out of the goal and Remus Grigoriu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ivan Iliescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Petru Negrescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79 minutes of play, Tacaliile's Ionel Măcrineanu made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Irinel Bărbuceanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Petre Deșliu kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Ciuntesti's Ivan Iliescu got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iulian Popescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Iliescu in the 90th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the game, Remus Grigoriu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Iulian Popescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Petre Deșliu hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Ciuntesti walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
