Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Soborsin FCM's Gabriel Herea started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10th match minute, Orzu SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dacian Caloian to maneuver through the defense. Matías de Andrade took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gică Pătrășcanu. Gică Pătrășcanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ian Clifton during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Orzu SC! After 32 played minutes Orzu SC got a freekick which was hit by Dacian Bălășescu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paul Lixandru got free with Leontin Jder in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ionuț Dănălache hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Gabriel Herea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soborsin FCM's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Herea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leontin Jder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matías de Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Gică Pătrășcanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matías de Andrade to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Paul Lixandru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soborsin FCM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paul Lixandru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Orzu SC's Leontin Jder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Lixandru in the 55th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Soborsin FCM's zone, Damian Măndica stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gică Pătrășcanu came out of the goal and Damian Măndica tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gică Pătrășcanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matías de Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Matías de Andrade sped through Soborsin FCM's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gică Pătrășcanu. If Matías de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Lixandru in the 66th minute of play forced Orzu SC's goalkeeper Leontin Jder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the game, Orzu SC's Matías de Andrade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gică Pătrășcanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. A collision led to Soborsin FCM getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ionuț Dănălache hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Matías de Andrade sped through Soborsin FCM's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gică Pătrășcanu. Cornel Bejgăneanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Gică Pătrășcanu made a huge save. 78 minutes into the match, Orzu SC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Bogza came free, but Leontin Jder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Herea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leontin Jder having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Soborsin FCM's goal looked a bit too open when Aron Sabău came free, but Gică Pătrășcanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Soborsin FCM getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Ionuț Dănălache hit a great ball. When %teams%'s Matías de Andrade was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-5 just inside the left pole, 87 minutes into the game. Gică Pătrășcanu was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Orzu SC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
