After a rather tough play, Los Bilionarios's Romeo Druță got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 3 played minutes, Matroska FC's Emilian Lobonț shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arrigo Sampo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Matroska FC reached it. Dorel Ghioncu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristi Dășanu having to make a save. Ionuț Nițulescu charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ionuț Nițulescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th match minute, Matroska FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionuț Nițulescu to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Matroska FC's zone, Eusebiu Coman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristi Dășanu came out of the goal and Eusebiu Coman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes into the match, Los Bilionarios's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Kenneth Bævre came free, but Arrigo Sampo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Matroska FC were awarded a corner. Emilian Lobonț went to the cornerflag to take it. Arrigo Sampo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codruț Zbârnea in the 19th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Codruț Zbârnea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arrigo Sampo. Los Bilionarios's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Codruț Zbârnea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codruț Zbârnea in the 34th minute of play forced Los Bilionarios's goalkeeper Arrigo Sampo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristi Dășanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dorel Ghioncu in the 36th minute. Andrei Ghionaru charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Silviu Dancu made in the 53rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Codruț Zbârnea. A throw-in in the 57th minute of the game was made by Gică Râznicu with Jan-Kenneth Bævre as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 59th minute, Wlodzimierz Grajewski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arrigo Sampo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wlodzimierz Grajewski in the 64th minute of play forced Los Bilionarios's goalkeeper Arrigo Sampo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arrigo Sampo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Codruț Zbârnea in the 69th minute. After 72 minutes, Romeo Druță mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Bilionarios and the Matroska FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Romeo Druță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Los Bilionarios getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Traian Ungureanu hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Codruț Zbârnea got free with Arrigo Sampo in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wlodzimierz Grajewski took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arrigo Sampo. Arrigo Sampo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 86th minute, Romeo Druță got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the game, Matroska FC's Wlodzimierz Grajewski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arrigo Sampo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Gică Râznicu hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Codruț Zbârnea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Arrigo Sampo made a huge save. The Matroska FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Matroska FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
