Spectators: 6699 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 0) After 2 minutes, Adrian Albeanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fierii and the Kakasd AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adrian Albeanu hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. 5 minutes into the game, Luca Paulică cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Panait Buzatu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Sorin Cârlan came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Fierii fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sorin Cârlan couldn't finish the play. In the 13th minute, Viorel Ciulei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute of the match Avram Niculescu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nichifor Rădvan skillfully saved the ball. If Luca Paulică had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fierii's Sergiu Aldulescu got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nichifor Rădvan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sergiu Aldulescu's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Fierii's Panait Buzatu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Paulică in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Kakasd AC's goal looked a bit too open when Sergiu Aldulescu came free, but Nichifor Rădvan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Fierii's goalkeeper Panait Buzatu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viorel Ciulei. After 30 minutes, Sorin Cârlan made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Kakasd AC's Nichifor Rădvan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luca Paulică kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. When Fierii's Sorin Cârlan in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kakasd AC's goalie prevented a goal. Fierii were furious when Isac Gheorghiță was red carded, 39 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 38th minute, one of Fierii:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fierii. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Cociubei in the 44th minute of play forced Kakasd AC's goalkeeper Nichifor Rădvan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sorin Cârlan was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Petruț Negrițoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panait Buzatu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nichifor Rădvan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isac Povară in the 57th minute of the match. Fierii's Panait Buzatu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petruț Negrițoiu in the 59th minute of play. Sorin Cârlan's late challenge caught a Kakasd AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sorin Cârlan helped the player get up and apologised. Luca Paulică took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Panait Buzatu. Panait Buzatu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Panait Buzatu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petruț Negrițoiu in the 68th minute of play. Sergiu Aldulescu charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sergiu Aldulescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd minute, Sergiu Aldulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute of the match Cătălin Bogdan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Panait Buzatu skillfully saved the ball. If Petruț Negrițoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd match minute, Fierii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergiu Aldulescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute, Viorel Ciulei left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kakasd AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. When Viorel Ciulei fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kakasd AC's protests and gave Viorel Ciulei a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Kakasd AC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Viorel Ciulei hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Eliodor Vâtcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kakasd AC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fierii had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
