Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dacian Mugur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alin Tomozei having to interfere. Valeriu Mușătescu kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. When Sergiu Ilie came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Metofu SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergiu Ilie couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute Denis Isbășoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugurel Cînu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Metofu SC's goalkeeper Alin Tomozei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iacob Șeimeanu. Toader Tatomir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Alin Tomozei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Grapeni's goal looked a bit too open when Sergiu Ilie came free, but Mugurel Cînu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Denis Isbășoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugurel Cînu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18thth minute of the game Iustin Slavici who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grapeni's Mugurel Cînu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 20th match minute, Grapeni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horaţiu Boteanu to maneuver through the defense. Mugurel Cînu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergiu Ilie in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Metofu SC's Denis Isbășoiu got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute of the match, Dacian Mugur tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alin Tomozei saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Toader Tatomir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iacob Șeimeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Alin Tomozei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 38 minutes, Toader Tatomir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grapeni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toader Tatomir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucrețiu Nițescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugurel Cînu having to interfere. Mugurel Cînu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Deleanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. A collision led to Metofu SC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Iustin Slavici hit a great ball. After 46 played minutes Grapeni got a freekick which was hit by Nechifor Mateianu. Eliodor Tache, 47 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Mugurel Cînu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iustin Slavici, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrian Deleanu hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Sergiu Ilie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mugurel Cînu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Deleanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Toader Tatomir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 73 in the game by Denis Isbășoiu from a close distance when the talented Mugurel Cînu managed to make a qualified save. Grapeni's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Isbășoiu in the 74th minute of play forced Grapeni's goalkeeper Mugurel Cînu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dacian Mugur in the 75th minute of play forced Metofu SC's goalkeeper Alin Tomozei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mugurel Cînu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Isbășoiu in the 78th minute of the match. Horaţiu Boteanu kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. If Toader Tatomir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 83rd minute, Metofu SC's Adrian Deleanu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mugurel Cînu. Mugurel Cînu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Denis Isbășoiu hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Grapeni's Mugurel Cînu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Isbășoiu in the 89th minute of play. Toader Tatomir's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alin Tomozei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Mugurel Cînu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustin Slavici in the 96th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
