Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dacian Mugur took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alex Smarandache kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Valeriu Mușătescu charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valeriu Mușătescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th match minute, Grapeni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valeriu Mușătescu to maneuver through the defense. Sever Sabău came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Grapeni's Toader Tatomir. But to his dismay, Toader Tatomir quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Mugurel Cînu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Cezar in the 11th minute of the match. Toader Tatomir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sever Sabău having to interfere. Bogdan Cezar's late challenge caught a Grapeni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bogdan Cezar helped the player get up and apologised. Bogdan Cezar kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Toader Tatomir scored 0-3 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sever Sabău, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 28th minute Iacob Șeimeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sever Sabău saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sever Sabău came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Grapeni's Iacob Șeimeanu. But to his dismay, Iacob Șeimeanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 37th minute Dacian Mugur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sever Sabău saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Iacob Șeimeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Matei Cocârlă fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC BUCURESTI's protests and gave Matei Cocârlă a yellow card for diving instead. Matei Cocârlă hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Nechifor Panaiteanus short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Mugurel Cînu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bogdan Cezar was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to AC BUCURESTI getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Ciprian Bălășoiu hit a great ball. If Iacob Șeimeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of AC BUCURESTI booed when Grapeni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinu Bistreanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Grapeni booed when AC BUCURESTI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calistrat Alupoaie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sever Sabău showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dacian Mugur in the 69th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Fabian Luncașu threw the ball into play from the sideline. AC BUCURESTI's Matei Cocârlă quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. AC BUCURESTI's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nechifor Panaiteanu in the 72nd minute. The corner led AC BUCURESTI's Nechifor Panaiteanu to fire away a dangerous shot which Mugurel Cînu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sever Sabău took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toader Tatomir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toader Tatomir in the 79th minute of play forced AC BUCURESTI's goalkeeper Sever Sabău to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AC BUCURESTI's Sever Sabău played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dacian Mugur in the 83rd minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, AC BUCURESTI's goal looked a bit too open when Dacian Mugur came free, but Sever Sabău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Remus Chifu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dacian Mugur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Sever Sabău tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th match minute, AC BUCURESTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niculae Vasilian to maneuver through the defense. Grapeni played a much better game than AC BUCURESTI and deserved their victory. The AC BUCURESTI players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
