Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Liviu Itoafă kicked off to start the match. After having played for 9 minutes, Ioan Filipoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC DMN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ioan Filipoiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ioan Filipoiu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Iordache Cazacu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Horia Boaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iordache Cazacu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ioan Filipoiu in the 16th minute. The audience was convinced that Liviu Itoafă's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iordache Cazacu was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 18th minute, Cristian Noica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Teodor Iovan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lazurile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Iordache Cazacu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emil Sângeorzan's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, Lazurile's Sandu Marincean got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Lazurile's Iordache Cazacu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viorel Nicodim in the 26th minute of play. Liviu Itoafă did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Iordache Cazacu 27 minutes into the match. Viorel Nicodim hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 30 played minutes, Lazurile's Sandu Marincean shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ioan Prelipceanu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lazurile reached it. Ioan Filipoiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Iordache Cazacu made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Lazurile's Sandu Marincean got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Ioan Filipoius short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Iordache Cazacu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Iordache Cazacu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viorel Nicodim in the 35th minute of play. With a little luck, Lazurile's Iordache Cazacu got control of the ball when Ioan Filipoiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iordache Cazacu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ioan Filipoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lazurile's zone, Liviu Itoafă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iordache Cazacu came out of the goal and Liviu Itoafă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When FC DMN's Viorel Nicodim in 41 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Iordache Cazacu guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. If Viorel Nicodim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

54 minutes into the match, Lazurile's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Sângeorzan came free, but Iordache Cazacu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iordache Cazacu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liviu Itoafă in the 55th minute of play. Liviu Itoafă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Iordache Cazacu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Sandu Marincean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Liviu Itoafă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandu Marincean kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 62 minutes of play, FC DMN's Viorel Nicodim made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iordache Cazacu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Viorel Nicodim took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iordache Cazacu. Iordache Cazacu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 71 minutes into the match, Lazurile's goal looked a bit too open when Ioan Filipoiu came free, but Iordache Cazacu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC DMN's Viorel Nicodim got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ioan Filipoiu in the 78th minute of play forced Lazurile's goalkeeper Iordache Cazacu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iordache Cazacu came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by FC DMN's Liviu Itoafă. But to his dismay, Liviu Itoafă quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Viorel Nicodim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ioan Filipoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Viorel Nicodim managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC DMN's supporters rose to their feet, but Viorel Nicodim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iordache Cazacu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iordache Cazacu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ioan Filipoiu in the 92nd minute of the match. Viorel Nicodim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iordache Cazacu having to interfere. Iordache Cazacu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liviu Itoafă in the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute Ioan Filipoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iordache Cazacu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the FC DMN players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
