Spectators: 6694 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1694, VIP seats: 0) Toporu's Stelian Gârniceanu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Luneile AS getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Pavel Medeleanu hit a great ball. Matei Gheban kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 14th minute of the match Toporu got a corner. Luneile AS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ionel Avramescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Damian Sticlaru got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gică Magherescu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 18th minute, Damian Sticlaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Daniel Bute managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toporu's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Bute was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gică Magherescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stelian Gârniceanu in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gică Magherescu saved Luneile AS from getting behind. Daniel Bute sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the game, Daniel Bute was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Toporu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Luneile AS the free kick. In the 26th match minute, Toporu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Bute to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Bute received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Gică Magherescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Stelian Gârniceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. After 35 minutes of play, Toporu's Stelian Gârniceanu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gică Magherescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Dorin Avădanei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Toporu's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Basarab Zubaşcu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 44th minute, Daniel Bute made a precise shot to the right of Gică Magherescu. Luneile AS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Dorin Avădanei made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Manole Uncheşu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes into the match, Luneile AS's goalkeeper Gică Magherescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Bute. Toporu's Damian Sticlaru suffered a sore thigh after 54 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 56th minute, Daniel Bute fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gică Magherescu, passed just outside the right post. Daniel Bute could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Gică Magherescu made a huge save. Stelian Gârniceanu scored 0-3 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gică Magherescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manole Uncheşu kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Gică Magherescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Bute in the 68th minute. After having played for 69 minutes, Stelian Gârniceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Toporu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stelian Gârniceanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Dorin Avădanei, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 74 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Gică Stafie was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Daniel Bute sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horea Drăucean hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Daniel Bute made a precise shot to the right of Gică Magherescu. Luneile AS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Toporu's Gică Stafie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manole Uncheşu in the 84th minute of play. Daniel Bute fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gică Magherescu having to interfere. Daniel Bute received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Gică Magherescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gică Magherescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Bute in the 90th minute. Stelian Gârniceanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Toporu's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
