Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dorin Cornoiu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Nicodim Şoiman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stelian Gârniceanu in the 14th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robert Neagu during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gică Stafie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorin Cornoiu in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Toporu's Nechifor Onciu got a free kick in the 25th minute. After 26 played minutes, Lusca's Viorel Iuonaș shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gică Stafie came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lusca reached it. Dorin Cornoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gică Stafie having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Daniel Bute managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toporu's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Bute was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicodim Şoiman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lusca's Nicodim Şoiman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stelian Gârniceanu in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ştefan Bot in the 40th minute of play forced Toporu's goalkeeper Gică Stafie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ignored Lusca's protests and gave Dorin Cornoiu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute, Dorin Cornoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicodim Şoiman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Bute, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The Lusca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicodim Şoiman should have stopped the shot. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lusca's goalkeeper Nicodim Şoiman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Valentin Seremet fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lusca's protests and gave Valentin Seremet a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes Lusca got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Seremet. Stelian Gârniceanu succeeded in the game's 95th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-1. Toporu's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
