Sorin Roşulescu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dobromir Grocholski came out and tried to block the shot, but Sorin Roşulescu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 11th minute. In the 15th minute, Călin Cumpanașu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dobromir Grocholski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iustinian Hojbota in the 17th minute. Lenis UFC's Dobromir Grocholski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Lenis UFC from getting a goal against them. 23 minutes into the match, Sorin Roşulescu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dobromir Grocholski, 2-0. In the 26th minute, Iustinian Hojbota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Albert Cezar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The supporters of Gradinele CSM booed when Lenis UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iustinian Enescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 32 played minutes, Gradinele CSM's Robert Covaliu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dobromir Grocholski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gradinele CSM reached it. Albert Cezar scored 2-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Petru Antonescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Sorin Roşulescu came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Gradinele CSM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sorin Roşulescu couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albert Cezar to strike the kick off in the second half. Basarab Muntean took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dobromir Grocholski. Dobromir Grocholski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Dobromir Grocholski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sorin Roşulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 92 minutes, Basarab Muntean managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gradinele CSM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basarab Muntean was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iustinian Enescu kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gradinele CSM had played much better football throughout.
