Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Iustin Vasiliu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gavril Tănasă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Mateescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iustin Vasiliu kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Horia Iorgovan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Gavril Tănasă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iurie Zdroană struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Gavril Tănasă didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sepsiszentgyörgy. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Horia Iorgovan sped through Plostinu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gavril Tănasă. In the 21st match minute, Sepsiszentgyörgy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mugurel Costea to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Victor Rogoz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gavril Tănasă. Plostinu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Rogoz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 27 minutes into the match, Plostinu's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Mateescu came free, but Gavril Tănasă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jean-Paul Tulner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gavril Tănasă came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Sepsiszentgyörgy's Valentin Mateescu. But to his dismay, Valentin Mateescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 41 played minutes Sepsiszentgyörgy got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Mateescu. In the 43rd match minute, Sepsiszentgyörgy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduard Cristea to maneuver through the defense. Sepsiszentgyörgy's attentive Mugurel Costea managed to snatch the ball when Czeslaw Fujara made a throw-in in the 45th minute of the game. Gavril Tănasă came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Sepsiszentgyörgy's Horia Iorgovan. But to his dismay, Horia Iorgovan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Horia Iorgovan made a kick off. Plostinu's Gavril Tănasă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horia Iorgovan in the 55th minute of play. Jean-Paul Tulner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavril Tănasă having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Plostinu's goal looked a bit too open when Horia Iorgovan came free, but Gavril Tănasă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute Horia Iorgovan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavril Tănasă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Valentin Mateescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gavril Tănasă was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Horia Iorgovan kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. A collision led to Sepsiszentgyörgy getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Cezar Cotoi hit a great ball. Gavril Tănasă stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horia Iorgovan's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Cezar Cotoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavril Tănasă having to interfere. Sepsiszentgyörgy made a substitution. Maxim Copil replaced Victor Rogoz. Gavril Tănasă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horia Iorgovan in the 89th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Gavril Tănasă successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Valentin Mateescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Gavril Tănasă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sepsiszentgyörgy played a much better game than Plostinu and deserved their victory. The Plostinu players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
