In the 3rdth minute of the game Nae Păvăloae who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC VIDELE's Cătălin Şteflea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ernest Popeneciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cătălin Şteflea having to interfere. Nae Păvăloae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustin Sângeorzan in the 10th minute of play forced FC VIDELE's goalkeeper Cătălin Şteflea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Ernest Popeneciu made a precise shot to the right of Cătălin Şteflea. FC VIDELE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Piriu's goal looked a bit too open when Mădălin Istrătescu came free, but Octavian Tatulici reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Piriu's Nae Păvăloae sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cătălin Şteflea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Piriu's Nae Păvăloae got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the game, Ştefan Goanță threw the ball into play from the sideline. Piriu's Ernest Popeneciu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 23 minutes into the game, Gheorghe Cerghizan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC VIDELE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piriu the free kick. Iustin Sângeorzan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cătălin Şteflea having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nae Păvăloae in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cătălin Şteflea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 38 minutes into the game, Piriu's Toader Silişteanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cătălin Şteflea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Nae Păvăloae recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Nae Păvăloae managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piriu's supporters rose to their feet, but Nae Păvăloae was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cătălin Şteflea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cătălin Şteflea was a little too slow when Nae Păvăloae got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 4-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aron Dărăscu to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Nae Păvăloae managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piriu's supporters rose to their feet, but Nae Păvăloae was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cătălin Şteflea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC VIDELE's Cătălin Şteflea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nae Păvăloae in the 60th minute of play. Nae Păvăloae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cătălin Şteflea having to interfere. Iustin Sângeorzan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cătălin Şteflea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Cătălin Şteflea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nae Păvăloae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iustin Sângeorzan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Cătălin Şteflea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nae Păvăloae got in the 74th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Cătălin Şteflea handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Piriu fully deserved thier win.
