But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iordache Rucăreanu couldn't finish the play. Viltotesti CSM's Silviu Păun got his second yellow card of the match in the 45th minute. The referee ordered Silviu Păun off the ground. In the 75th minute, Mihai Bogdănescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Viltotesti CSM's goal looked a bit too open when Mădălin Istrătescu came free, but Ernest Arjoca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mihai Bogdănescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cătălin Şteflea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mihai Bogdănescu in the 83rd minute. If Iordache Blidaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of FC VIDELE booed when Viltotesti CSM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position.
