Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Andrei Honciu made the kick off which started today's match. The crowd rose to their feet as Zimbrul's Egert Laisk slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ioan Avram. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. In the 7th minute, Jegheriste's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Andrei Honciu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 10 minutes in the game, Andrei Honciu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ioan Avram having to interfere. Ioan Avram took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egert Laisk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrei Honciu in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ioan Avram, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ioan Avram took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egert Laisk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Egert Laisk had several of the Jegheriste's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 16 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Ioan Avram as he didn't even see the shot coming. After having played for 19 minutes, Andrei Honciu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zimbrul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrei Honciu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andrei Honciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ioan Avram having to interfere. Niculae Datcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gelu Corduneanu in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute Ovidiu Trifănucă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Datcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ovidiu Trifănucă struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Niculae Datcu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jegheriste. After 35 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jegheriste! 3-0 came through a penalty shot after 36 played minutes, when Zimbrul:s Egert Laisk calmly waited for Jegheriste:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. In the 42nd minute Ovidiu Trifănucă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Datcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Andrei Honciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ovidiu Trifănucă to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Ferdinand Ciucă mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jegheriste and the Zimbrul players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Zimbrul booed when Jegheriste was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinand Ciucă didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Jegheriste's goal looked a bit too open when Egert Laisk came free, but Ioan Avram reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64thth minute of the game Andrei Honciu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jegheriste's Ioan Avram was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Jegheriste's goal looked a bit too open when Egert Laisk came free, but Ioan Avram reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Jegheriste's Cezar Târcă dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Niculae Datcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gelu Corduneanu in the 72nd minute of the match. Zimbrul's Niculae Datcu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Zimbrul from getting a goal against them. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zimbrul's goalkeeper Niculae Datcu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferdinand Ciucă got free with Niculae Datcu in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 78 played minutes Zimbrul got a freekick which was hit by Costică Gherguț. Niculae Datcu was a little too slow when Ferdinand Ciucă got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 3-2. Niculae Datcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidiu Trifănucă, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Niculae Datcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidiu Trifănucă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gelu Corduneanu's late challenge caught a Zimbrul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gelu Corduneanu helped the player get up and apologised. Gelu Corduneanu kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidiu Trifănucă in the 96th minute of play forced Zimbrul's goalkeeper Niculae Datcu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Zimbrul players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
