Tudor Hănescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristi Hănescu in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Adanoata FCM's Rareș Enășoiu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mihai Barbă made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Rareș Enășoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adanoata FCM's Rareș Enășoiu got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mihăiţă Honciu kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Rareș Enășoiu struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Mihai Barbă didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Adanoata FCM. In the 39th minute Iacob Movileanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihai Barbă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rareș Enășoiu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mihai Barbă having to make a save. Rareș Enășoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Mihai Barbă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Adanoata FCM's Tudor Hănescu got control of the ball when Cristi Hănescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee ignored Adanoata FCM's protests and gave Costică Aluchei a yellow card for diving instead. Costică Aluchei hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After having played for 52 minutes, Viorel Bărănescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gorgova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viorel Bărănescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Costică Aluchei kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Tudor Hănescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristi Hănescu in the 55th minute of the match. Tudor Hănescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristi Hănescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Gorgova's goalkeeper Mihai Barbă had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Radu Mustea. Rareș Enășoiu might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mihai Barbă. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rareș Enășoiu ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 75 minutes, Mihăiţă Honciu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gorgova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihăiţă Honciu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Constantin Giurgiu during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 78 minutes into the game, Mihăiţă Honciu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gorgova's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Adanoata FCM the free kick. When Adanoata FCM's Iacob Movileanu, in the 80th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Adanoata FCM. After having played for 82 minutes, Rareș Enășoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Adanoata FCM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rareș Enășoiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Gorgova's Viorel Bărănescu got a free kick in the 91st minute. Mihai Barbă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octav Argăseală, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. A collision led to Adanoata FCM getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Costică Aluchei hit a great ball. When Dumitru Raţiu came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Gorgova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dumitru Raţiu couldn't finish the play. Adanoata FCM's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
