Emilian Bocșa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandru Gorunescu in the 27th minute of the match. Alexandru Gorunescu scored 0-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emilian Bocșa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dorin Roșeanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dorin Roșeanu in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilian Bocșa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alexandru Gorunescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Emilian Bocșa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Eugen Elefteriu charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugen Elefteriu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Octav Ciurea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Octav Ciurea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Giuverdea having to interfere. Octav Ciurea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrian Giuverdea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Prisian eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
