In the 17th minute Emilian Lovinescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iurie Moșneanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radu Alucai kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Emilian Lovinescu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Saulita's Iurie Moșneanu. Iurie Moșneanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Ferestrele AS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cazimir Bănățeanu should have stopped the shot. Ferestrele AS's Cazimir Bănățeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilian Hagi in the 69th minute of play.
