Răzvan Balint made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodor Anghel in the 13th minute of play. Leontin Bîndean kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Ferdinand Muntian made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Constantin Necula sent off a good shot on target. Steaua Dărmănești's Ferdinand Muntian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Stolniceanu in the 24th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Steaua Dărmănești's goalkeeper Ferdinand Muntian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mihăiţă Brânzeu. Ferdinand Muntian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Stolniceanu in the 29th minute of play. Teodor Anghel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Răzvan Balint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodor Anghel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Răzvan Balint having to interfere.

When Mihăiţă Avram fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Steaua Dărmănești's protests and gave Mihăiţă Avram a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 minutes, Mihăiţă Brânzeu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HaYhuY and the Steaua Dărmănești players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to HaYhuY getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Mihăiţă Brânzeu hit a great ball. Ferdinand Muntian came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by HaYhuY's Valentin Stolniceanu. But to his dismay, Valentin Stolniceanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Răzvan Balint made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Nicu Stăniloaie sent off a good shot on target. Răzvan Balint was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Nicu Stăniloaie capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nicu Stăniloaie really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Ferdinand Muntian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Stolniceanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Nicu Stăniloaie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Răzvan Balint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodor Anghel struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Răzvan Balint didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Steaua Dărmănești. Nicu Stăniloaie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Răzvan Balint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicu Stăniloaie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Steaua Dărmănești eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
