Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ilia CS's Aron Elefterescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alin Itoafă during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alin Itoafă kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Ernest Bondrea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Răchită, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Ernest Bondrea was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aron Elefterescu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Răzvan Spirea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Elefterescu in the 26th minute of play forced Liberty FC's goalkeeper Ernest Bondrea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Manuel Baciu put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Martin Cozorici. Martin Cozorici came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Liberty FC's Răzvan Spirea. But to his dismay, Răzvan Spirea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Liberty FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mihail Lăzan in the 38th minute. Aron Elefterescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernest Bondrea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aron Elefterescu ran back to his position shaking his head.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Răzvan Spirea made a kick off. Manuel Baciu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Martin Cozorici made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Răzvan Spirea in the 61st minute of play forced Ilia CS's goalkeeper Martin Cozorici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Baciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Cozorici having to interfere. Liberty FC's Nistor Drăgoescu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 66th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Martin Cozorici but with some difficulty. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Liberty FC! The referee gave Ilia CS a penalty, 68 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Iulian Albescu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Liberty FC's Ernest Bondrea. 2-2. Manuel Baciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Cozorici having to interfere. The supporters of Liberty FC booed when Ilia CS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Torouţ didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Cozorici was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mihail Lăzan. In the 80th minute Aron Elefterescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernest Bondrea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Răzvan Spirea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Liberty FC's Răzvan Spirea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martin Cozorici narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ernest Bondrea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Răchită, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
