Spectators: 7141 (Terracing: 5615, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 26) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vasile Agudin got the match started through his kick off. 8 minutes into the game, Ciprian Goiciu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Petre Şuteu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Verdesti CS's Petre Şuteu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gică Dăscălescu in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Mugurel Diculescu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Verdesti CS's Petre Şuteu. Petre Şuteu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vasile Agudin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vasile Agudin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidiu Cernea having to interfere. In the 30th play minute Vasile Agudin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ovidiu Cernea. 1-2. 36 minutes in the game, Petrică Crăciun fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ovidiu Cernea having to interfere. Petre Şuteu came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Stellar Warriors C.F.'s Mugurel Diculescu. But to his dismay, Mugurel Diculescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 42nd minute, Mugurel Diculescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Petre Şuteu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. 47 minutes into the game, Stellar Warriors C.F.'s Sever Donecea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Petre Şuteu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mugurel Diculescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ovidiu Cernea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olimpiu Ferenț in the 54th minute of play. In the 58th minute Vasile Agudin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Cernea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicu Mușetescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidiu Cernea having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Stellar Warriors C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Vasile Agudin came free, but Ovidiu Cernea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olimpiu Ferenț received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ovidiu Cernea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olimpiu Ferenț recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Petre Şuteu was a little too slow when Mugurel Diculescu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 1-6. Vasile Agudin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ovidiu Cernea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Verdesti CS's Manuel Fecioru got a free kick in the 96th minute.
