Spectators: 6300 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 100) Cristian Mahonea started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cosmin Homeag made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narcis Ogică in the 4th minute of play. When Sacaseni CSM's Narcis Ogică in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Sacaseni CSM's Cătălin Bogdan got a free kick in the 10th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Sacaseni CSM's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Mahonea came free, but Dorel Lăcătușu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Claudiu Sălcudeanu put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cosmin Homeag. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Nicolescu in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cosmin Homeag prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Claudiu Sălcudeanu's late challenge caught a Draghiceanu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudiu Sălcudeanu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Draghiceanu booed when Sacaseni CSM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudiu Sălcudeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Sacaseni CSM were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Narcis Ogică made a kick off. Cosmin Homeag showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narcis Ogică in the 51st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Mahonea in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dorel Lăcătușu saved Sacaseni CSM from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Mahonea in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. When Ivan Nicolescu came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Sacaseni CSM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Nicolescu couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Mahonea in the 59th minute of play forced Sacaseni CSM's goalkeeper Dorel Lăcătușu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ioan Văcărescu kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Ivan Nicolescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Cosmin Homeag tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Claudiu Sălcudeanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cosmin Homeag showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudiu Sălcudeanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 90th minute, Sacaseni CSM's Ivan Nicolescu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. The Draghiceanu fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Draghiceanu's Cristian Mahonea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the final whistle sounded Sacaseni CSM left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Draghiceanu.
