FC STEAUA's Dumitru Atanasiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihăiţă Horhoianu in the 11th minute of play. Dumitru Atanasiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iulian Fărcașu in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihăiţă Horhoianu in the 24th minute of play forced FC STEAUA's goalkeeper Dumitru Atanasiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Teen Wolf Titans's Virgil Măliță got a free kick in the 26th minute. Alin Stănciulescu was a little too slow when Lucrețiu Schiau got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-0. When Iulian Fărcașu came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Teen Wolf Titans fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iulian Fărcașu couldn't finish the play. Mihăiţă Horhoianu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 58th minute. Teen Wolf Titans's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Mihăiţă Horhoianu came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Teen Wolf Titans fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mihăiţă Horhoianu couldn't finish the play. Dumitru Atanasiu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mihăiţă Horhoianu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 69 minute of play. After 72 played minutes Teen Wolf Titans got a freekick which was hit by Iustin Pitiș. Mihăiţă Horhoianu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 75th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Iulian Fărcașu fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Teen Wolf Titans's protests and gave Iulian Fărcașu a yellow card for diving instead. Mihăiţă Horhoianu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 85 minutes of play, FC STEAUA's Lucrețiu Schiau made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alin Stănciulescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 2-4 when Mihăiţă Horhoianu sped through FC STEAUA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dumitru Atanasiu.
