Iulian Costandin made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Iordache Ciprian sent off a good shot on target. In the 17th minute Liverpool Academy were awarded a corner. Ivan Tilincă went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Ivan Tilincă got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Iulian Costandin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Marian Muja took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petruț Suciu. Petruț Suciu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Muja in the 26th minute of play forced Liverpool Academy's goalkeeper Petruț Suciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 minutes, Ilie Oardă mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cermeiu AC and the Liverpool Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Liverpool Academy booed when Cermeiu AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilie Oardă didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Cermeiu AC's Iulian Costandin got control of the ball when Iordache Ciprian tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cermeiu AC's Iulian Costandin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ioan Leu in the 34th minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ioan Leu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marian Muja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonard Macovei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Petruț Suciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Emilian Udrescu made a precise shot to the right of Iulian Costandin. Cermeiu AC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilian Udrescu in the 68th minute of play forced Cermeiu AC's goalkeeper Iulian Costandin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonard Macovei struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Petruț Suciu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cermeiu AC. 75 minutes into the match, Iordache Ciprian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iulian Costandin. Cermeiu AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iordache Ciprian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Petruț Suciu was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Marian Muja capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marian Muja really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Petruț Suciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marian Muja, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Leonard Macovei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Petruț Suciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cermeiu AC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
