Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cuzaplac FC's Ionică Antipa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Ionică Antipa came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Cuzaplac FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ionică Antipa couldn't finish the play. After having played for 19 minutes, Rareș Iosub managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuzaplac FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rareș Iosub was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sorin Smarandache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionică Antipa, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C. Buzau's goalkeeper Sorin Smarandache, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ionică Antipa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sorin Smarandache stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ionică Antipa's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute, Rareș Iosub hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dinu Stănciulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viorel Vlăsiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gică Lucaci during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th minute, Viorel Vlăsiu fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Cuzaplac FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
