Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Coroteni CF's Sever Mercescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Coroteni CF's Luca Răchitan got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute, Emanuel Chifu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Mangra kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC LEII's zone, Sever Mercescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sever Răduța came out of the goal and Sever Mercescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicodim Mardarie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ivan Boldur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sever Răduța took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sever Mercescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Dinu Rizea came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Coroteni CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dinu Rizea couldn't finish the play. With his leg Sever Răduța managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Coroteni CF's Sever Mercescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emanuel Chifu to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Coroteni CF's Mugurel Vintilă got a free kick in the 51st minute. Eduard Ficsinescu kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Denis Gurzău kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Nistor Ciociu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Boldur having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Coroteni CF's Gabriel Balaci got a free kick in the 64th minute. Coroteni CF's Matei Calboreanu was substituted for Sever Mercescu. The supporters of FC LEII booed when Coroteni CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinu Rizea didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute Matei Calboreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sever Răduța saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 played minutes FC LEII got a freekick which was hit by Nicodim Mardarie. 85 minutes into the game, Nistor Ciociu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Coroteni CF's Romeo Frățilă quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 92 minutes in the game Nicodim Mardarie after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Ivan Boldur. A very good opportunity. The Coroteni CF support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
